I am nearly half way to having what I need to leave where I am for somewhere else.

That is to say that I have almost half the money I need to leave for California and I think about it every day. I can’t help but be excited about the trip I will be taking, the things I will see, the people I may meet…

It is not that I don’t like it where I am now…not entirely. This place has many things to offer and many things I have here that I would not have anywhere else. It just doesn’t feed my creativity or my mind. I can’t help but think that it is stifling me, keeping me from being myself fully, not the me that I want anyway…it seems to bring out the worst of me. At the very least it is more difficult here to meet the people who would encourage me to be myself, this is not to say that anyone is trying to do the opposite though. This is a place to raise children and retire but not to live your whole life…I refuse.

I now have my “three” xmas/birthday gifts to myself on order. I am waiting for three Decks (two long, on tiny) and trucks, wheels, bushings for the tiny one. The tiny setup should be all here in a week while the other two larger decks should ship on the fourth of January which happens to be my day of birth.

I have created a budget for myself so that I might be able to save enough money to leave this state by the early middle of next year. The trip may only end up a vacation but if things go as planned…

I will be driving of course, all the way to California from Missouri, though I have yet and perhaps never will set in stone the route by which I will get there. I think I will just make sure I have what I need to make it to wherever I may end up.

Here I am, sitting in my Microsoft Client-Server class rethinking whether or not I want to continue with this degree. This is just all to too dry for me to take and is causing me to feel drowsy. To be honest I really only wanted to learn to repair computers and perhaps get my A+ Certification; The Degree was only to help me make a little more money when I do enter the work force.

I am now a step closer to making a major change to my room. I just removed the second largest piece of furniture I had and am thinking of how to use the newly acquired space.
