The Ground Squirrel (one of many) at the elephant seal viewing area. The signs said not to feed the animals but nobody read them so these squirrels were almost tame.
ugh…as fun as it is to drive the twisty mountain roads, I couldn’t fully enjoy it because of the fog. This photo doesn’t quite do it justice.
This photo is just another of the roads I drove through the mountains on Hwy 1 it only got more crazy from here on.
I found this along side the mountain roads, I think it was right next to where I took the last photo.
The first place I camped on my trip. Definitely wet the whole time as the fog was as thick as 2% milk.
