Motivation

It is raining, or at least there is significant drizzle…either way it is not pleasant for any outdoors excursions.  I don’t mind it though, because I cannot feel as though I wasted a day by staying inside, it was wet and cold and therefore I had no good reason to leave the house.  That said, I do plan to leave the house this evening and do something with a friend of mine.  I don’t know what we plan to do but whatever it ends up being I’m sure will be plenty enjoyable.

I have made a couple of stencils in the past few days, stuck up some stickers around town, planned (in my head) to put up some more soon, and am feeling good about it all.  I like using stickers, they aren’t permanent but they will stay for as long as people let them.  I look at it as a rating system, if you come back in a week and your sticker is still there, then those who saw it liked it enough to leave it be.  On the other hand, if you cannot find your sticker again then someone liked it enough to take it with them.  ;)

I still want to take some more photos and I know I don’t have any excuse not to be shooting, I just don’t feel motivated.  I don’t feel like forcing it would be a good idea either, you can’t force creativity and come up with something good in my mind.  If you force it then the end result will reflect that and while other people may not notice right away I certainly would see it and it would most certainly upset me.

I need to get my pen adjusted, the nib is not quite right.  I also need to find some waterproof black ink that will work well in my pen.

motivation is the key issue here, money is the motivator to find motivation…this is an interesting issue to be sure.
