creative writing.
Throughout highschool we were always asked to write research papers that were a bit stifling or where we could not be as creative as I would have liked. Now, in college, I am asked to write several reflection papers where that is all the teacher wants is creativity and my opinion. I am also asked to write and prepare a research paper and presentation in a different class and the topic I have picked only allows for opinionated statements. This is nice but at the same time I don’t know what to do with myself as I have not had the freedom before to do this for an assignment, it is liberating and hindering at the same time.
I think that perhaps I am making a big deal out of nothing, but, that tends to be what I do when I have nothing else to think about.
