IBM FTW BTW
The post today is coming to you directly from an IBM “M” model keyboard. I didn’t know the gold I had until now and if you don’t know what I mean then take a moment to think about this: this keyboard is pushing 21 years of existence and still works wonderfully. Oh and the satisfying click that you hear every time you press down on one of the keys is a nice perk. I have decided that I will be using this from now on…or at least until I cannot use it any longer with my computer (upgrades to happen and some newer computers won’t let me use this style of keyboard)
This tank is sure to keep me awake on long late night typing sessions, not that those ever happen, and if someone where to break into my house I could use it to defend my property. The only complaint I have for it is the desk it sits on…the space for the keyboard is on just big enough for the beast.
I think some time in the future I might have to order another set of key caps and paint the thing a more aesthetically pleasing color as beige is just blah and even nasty at this age even with a good cleaning.
