sittin’ here at a LAN party, a gathering of sorts, in a room full of familiar faces.
The weather changed today, melted some of the snow with a 60f degree heat wave.
Have been taking more photos recently.
Not quite as financially broken as I had thought, not quite.

woke up in a funky mood this morning, not 60’s funky either.
also (maybe connected) saw Benjamin Button last night.
Overnight Genius is for fools.
I have been receiving repeat calls from a company trying to send me a free “Overnight Genius” CD. I keep telling them I am not interested and that they need to stop calling me but I keep receiving calls. I have been called more than 6 times in the last week about the same thing. I have asked that they not call me twice (the last two calls) and if they call again I will need to find...

My art class has definitely been my favorite class so far, granted I have only had each class once, but they DO say that first impressions are everything.
Finally got cleaning supplies for my longboard’s bearings, cleaned them, same problems still persist. This is really getting irritating because I have not done anything drastic to these little guys yet half of them are bitching at me...
School again.
First Day of actual classes (second semester) starts tomorrow. I have one online class, hense the designation “actual” for the rest. I’m kinda excited, though I don’t know where a couple of them are exactly but I am sure I can figure it out easily enough.

the first day I really get to ride it, the weather decides to spit on me. No, there was no real significant rain, just a slight sprinkling of annoyance. Just enough water on the streets for me to end up on the ground because my board decided to change directions on me going around a turn. The back of the thing wanted to be the front and my equilibrium didn’t agree.

My board came in almost exactly at 12 noon yesterday. I love it…
This damn thing is amazing, I cannot describe it any other way. It’s simply a joy to just stand on and to actually be moving down the street on it is wonderful.
It’s just too bad for me that I am getting sick and probably shouldn’t go out riding a skateboard in the cold and wind. That won’t stop...

The first ride on my new dervish tells all, and it was well worth the money.

AHHHH, I just ordered a Loaded Dervish longboard!!!
It should be here next week sometime along with my new computer case and heat sink.
I am undoubtedly more excited right now than I could hope to be….that is, if you don’t count how excited I will be when the packages arrive.
